Is a Wash n’ Go worth it?

Ask yourself these 7 questions:

  1. Has your hair been trimmed or shaped in the last 3-4 months?

  2. Can you see your curls during the shampoo and conditioning process?

  3. Do you experience excess tangling when it comes to styling?

  4. Do you have a hood or hand-held dryer?

  5. Are you satisfied with your curl pattern?

  6. Are you satisfied with your hair length and density?

  7. Are you open to learning new techniques with new (or your already existing) products?

If you answered yes to at least 6 of these 7 questions, then you should definitely start experimenting with wash n’ gos! If you struggled to answer yes to many of these questions, don’t fret, a few changes in technique, product, and possibly a salon visit can help you understand how to get your best wash n’ go!

I get asked about techniques and products I recommend for wash n’ go, so here’s a video and a list of products you can use as guidance:

If you’re still not convinced, that’s okay too, every style isn’t for everybody. Natural hair is beautifully diverse and doesn't conform to any specific mold! It's shaped by a range of factors like our lifestyle, climate, and even how confident we feel about its length and density. So, there's no need to limit ourselves—let's celebrate the freedom and uniqueness of our natural hair!

I hope this has helped you include or eliminate a style from your hairstyle arsenal!
