Salon Policies

PREPARATION FOR APPOINTMENT:

Please come with hair properly detangled. I strive to preserve your strands during the shampoo process so it is imperative to start with a foundation free of tangles. I provide a gentle detangling before most services however, hair that requires excessive detangling will incur a $20+ fee that will be added to the cost of service. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you wish for your hair to be detangled, please select the add-on when booking. FOR BRAIDS: Unless the service booked includes a shampoo and blow-dry, client will need to come with hair clean and blowdried OR braided/twisted out, detangled, and very well stretched. A $10 additional fee will be added for hair that is not prepped. For best results, please book the “shampoo + blow-dry” add-on. The results of your braids will look better and last longer if your hair was blowdried straight. Hair MUST be 4 inches all over or longer for braids or flat twist.

ADDITIONAL HAIR FOR SERVICE:

The client is responsible for providing their own hair for the service. If you prefer that I provide the hair, please inform me at least 48 hours prior to your service. COST OF SERVICE:

Please note that all prices are starting prices. Hair that is long(bra strap length+) and/or has a higher density typically takes longer. Please be aware that this will require $20+ increase in cost.

I recommend that you select every add-on desired at the time of booking. You may not be able to make changes or add on a service at the time of your appointment if time does not permit.

LATE POLICY:

I strive to provide the best service in a timely manner. I would ask that you arrive to your appointment on time. A $15 late fee will be charged after 15 minutes. $30 will be charged after 30 minutes OR appointment will be cancelled/rescheduled. If the appointment must be cancelled or rescheduled due to lateness, deposit WILL NOT be transferred to a future appointment. A new appointment must be made.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULE POLICY:

Please be mindful that reserving an appointment removes the opportunity for another client to book on the date and time that you have chosen. For this reason, in the event that you must cancel your appointment for any purpose, your deposit made to reserve the appointment WILL NOT be returned. If you wish to come on another date and time, DO NOT CANCEL your appointment, please reschedule. The deposit will not be lost if the appointment is rescheduled within 24 hours of your appointment. After 24 hours, you will no longer be able to reschedule your appointment and the deposit can no longer be transferred. 

PAYMENT:

All deposits are non-refundable and will be collected at the time of booking. The deposit will be credited towards the total of the appointment. If you wish, you may pay the remaining balance with cash, CashApp, Venmo, Card on File, or you may swipe a new card at the time of checkout. Cash is the preferred method of payment for gratuity, otherwise you will have the option to add a tip through the other forms of payment. A receipt may be given at the time of checkout upon request.
